A Family Portrait

I like taking photos of people. And people love having their photos taken. At least most people do, don’t they? Especially when they’re on holiday?

9 times out of 10, people strike a pose when a camera is pointed at them. But I generally don’t like posed photos. I prefer to take them as they are, I find them more interesting that way.

Take this image for example.

The three ladies were posing for a family portrait and they decided to include little junior. But little junior is rarely in the mood to pose for pictures, isn’t he? Happens everywhere.

I thought it was rather bizarre that the ladies were all smiling for the family camera while little junior was squirming in mummy’s arms.

I simply had to capture the fleeting moment. And the only person who knew was little junior … our little secret.

Do you like photos like this?

I just love them.
